Inflatables – they are ubiquitous at big summer and sporting events but design has barely moved on in 30 years. Surely someone can come up with a cool take on the inflatable? Harder and harder to justify the gas-guzzling generator if they don’t even look good. Has the bubble burst?

The media giant will match public donations pound for pound, aiming for a total of £4,000,000, enough to save an area the size of Belgium.
