The Channel 4 Diversity in Advertising Award is an established industry scheme designed to encourage greater and more authentic representation of diverse UK communities through mainstream UK television advertising.
Rouge was asked by Channel 4 to find a solution for a socially distanced judging day. We needed a space big enough to bring 17 industry associated judges together to watch 6 streamed presentations followed by an in person debate, before deciding on the eventual winner.
One of our favourite venues The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm was chosen to host the event. This iconic space is large and airy with a big enough footprint to keep all in attendance a safe distance away from each other.
We worked closely with The Roundhouse and both Channel 4 health and safety and our own health and safety consultants to ensure appropriate measures were put in place to keep everyone safe and secure.
The event was a big success and the lucky winner will get to launch their winning campaign on Channel 4 this year.
